Interview every applicant in the language they think in.
PhoneScreen runs the whole phone interview in any of 34 languages, then hands you the transcript and scorecard in English. Your questions, your rubric, no translator.
One setting, no per-language setup
- 01
Turn it on for the role
One setting: let candidates answer in their preferred language. Leave it off for roles where English is part of the job, and the interview runs in English.
- 02
The candidate picks a language
The apply form asks which language they want before they call. From the first word, the greeting, questions, follow-ups and goodbye are in that language.
- 03
You read it in English
The scorecard and transcript are in English, with the original one click away. Answers are scored on what the candidate meant, not on how good their English is.

Screening in other languages
Does a screen in another language cost more? +
No. Every completed screen is $4, in any language, and there is no per-language setup.
Do I have to translate my questions? +
No. You write the questions once, in English. The interviewer asks them in the candidate's language, faithfully, keeping names and numbers exact.
Are scores comparable across languages? +
Yes. Every answer is scored against the same question and rubric, on the meaning of what was said. A candidate who answers in Spanish is compared like for like with one who answers in English.
What if the candidate wants to switch to English? +
If they ask, the interviewer switches and carries on. If they started in English and clearly prefer another language, it switches to that one.
What if English matters for the job? +
Turn the language choice off for that role and every interview runs in English. Then the screen also tells you how each candidate handles a conversation in English.
