Call every new applicant while they still care.
The AI interviewer can call candidates as well as take their calls: one at a time, within minutes of each application, or as a scheduled campaign. And it does the things that get a call answered.
From one call to a whole list
Call one candidate now
From the candidate's page, the API, or by asking ChatGPT or Claude: "call Ana now." The interview starts the moment they pick up.
Call new applicants automatically
When Indeed, CareerPlug, Hireology, ApplicantPro or the API sends a new applicant with call mode on, the call goes out within minutes of the application.
Run a call campaign
Call a list of candidates at a scheduled time in their time zone, with retries spaced minutes, hours or days apart. Campaigns are switched on per account; ask us.
Most AI calls fail before hello. These don't.
Hourly applicants ignore unknown numbers. Four things change that.
Your own local number and name
Calls and texts can come from a dedicated local number registered with your company's name for caller ID, so the phone shows who is calling instead of an unknown number. Ask us to set one up.
A text before the call
With a dedicated number, the candidate gets a text shortly before dialing that says who is about to call and why, so the call is expected rather than a mystery. You can edit the wording.
A text after a missed call
If they miss it, they can get a text in their language with the number to call back whenever they are free. The interview is waiting when they do.
No robotic voicemails
The interviewer recognizes voicemail, phone menus and hold music and does not leave a recorded pitch. Missed calls and voicemails are never charged.
About calling candidates
Should I call candidates or let them call in? +
Let them call in by default. When the candidate dials, the call always connects, at a moment they can talk. Outbound calls are best right after someone applies, or for a candidate you specifically want to reach today.
How fast can it call a new applicant? +
Within minutes of the application arriving from your ATS or the API, at any hour, if the role is set to call. Speed matters most in hourly hiring, where applicants often take the first job that reaches them.
What does an outbound call cost? +
The same as any screen: $4 per completed screen, first 10 free. Calls that go to voicemail, are missed or are declined cost nothing.
Which numbers can it call? +
US and Canadian numbers.
Does the candidate know it is an AI? +
Yes. The interviewer introduces itself as an AI assistant calling on your behalf, and every call opens with a recording notice.
