Our original pay-per-screen pricing, and what changed

PhoneScreen originally charged $4 for each completed phone screen, with a one-time free allowance and no base subscription. That model remains in place for the existing customers who have it.

On October 21, 2026, we introduced subscriptions for new customers. The plans combine phone screens with resume screening and, on Pro and Enterprise, Reference Agent. Here is what changed and what stays the same.

Every paid plan includes resume screening, unlimited roles and teammates, scorecards, recordings, transcripts, and the supported integrations. Additional completed phone screens cost $4 each. On Pro and Enterprise, additional completed reference contacts also cost $4 each.

Allowances refresh monthly, including on annual plans, and unused included usage does not roll over. A reference contact is one person who completes the conversation; collecting references from three people uses three contacts.

For example, 26 completed phone screens on monthly Basic cost $103 before tax: the $99 base and one $4 additional screen. The pricing page has the full terms and a calculator.

Start with ten free phone screens

New accounts receive ten one-time free completed phone screens, with no card required. Resume screening is included while trial screens remain. The separate public resume demo can be tried without an account, within its daily limits.

After those ten screens, choose a paid subscription to continue phone and resume screening. The trial does not automatically turn into a paid plan, and saved results remain available. Reference Agent requires paid Pro or Enterprise; it is not included in the free trial.

Existing customers keep their plans

Your existing billing model, rates, free-screen balance, and feature access remain in place. We do not automatically move existing organizations onto a subscription. The original usage-based plan remains available to the customers already on it.

You can compare Basic, Pro, and Enterprise in Billing and choose to switch. A subscription can save money at steady volumes, but a low-volume customer may spend less by keeping their existing plan. Compare your actual usage and remaining free balance before switching, including any change to reference access and allowances.

What counts as a completed screen

A completed phone screen produces a scorecard. Missed calls, voicemail, technical failures, and candidates who withdraw without completing a screen do not consume an included screen or incur an additional screen charge.

The paid subscription base still applies even in a quiet month. Existing usage-based customers retain their previous billing rules. You can read the status, transcript, recording, and scorecard for each completed screen in your account.

Integrations and billing

Supported integrations, the API, webhooks, and MCP access are included with every plan. A screen started through an integration uses the same allowance as one started through an apply link. Reference operations still require the feature access on your plan.

The Billing page shows your plan, completed usage, and additional usage. Monthly subscriptions renew monthly; annual subscriptions are paid upfront for the year while usage allowances refresh monthly. You can cancel renewal and keep access through the paid term. Existing results remain available after the subscription ends.
