Works with
An AI interviewer, not a robocall
Asks your questions, listens, follows up when an answer is thin, and answers the candidate's questions from your notes. It reports. You decide.
Nothing to schedule, ever
Applicants screen themselves the moment they are free, or we place the call. Either way it runs at 8pm and on weekends, when most hourly applicants actually apply.
A scorecard, not a gut feeling
Every answer scored against the question you asked, with the reasoning, recording, and transcript. Compare applicants on what they said, not how the call felt.
Candidate scheduling is dead
No calendar invites, no phone tag, no blocks held open on your calendar. Send applicants a link and they screen themselves with our AI interviewer, 24/7, weekends and holidays included. You read the results when you are ready.
Screen more candidates in less time
Nothing to schedule, prep, sit through, or write up afterwards. The screen happens without you and the scorecard is waiting.
0 min
No scheduling, no prep, no call to sit through, no notes to write up. You read a scorecard instead.
$4
after your first 10 free. A recruiter's 15-minute screen costs more than that in time before it's even scheduled.
One steady filter for every applicant, every location, every recruiter.
Human screens vary with who is calling and what time it is. PhoneScreen asks every applicant the same questions in the same order, scores them on the same rubric, and never cuts a call short on Friday at five. You can show exactly how each decision was made.

Built for hundreds of applicants and one recruiter
They call in, or we call them
Send a link and applicants screen themselves whenever suits them, or have us place the call. Either way it runs at 8pm, on a Saturday, on a holiday.
They answer in their own language
For plenty of jobs it does not matter that English is a second language. Applicants screen in Spanish, or any of 30+ languages, and say what they actually mean. You read every transcript and score in English.
Graded by frontier AI, not a keyword match
The same state-of-the-art models behind the best AI products read every answer, score it out of 100 against the question you asked, explain the reasoning, and flag what to double-check.
Link, embed, or connect
Put the link on the job post, embed the form on your careers page, or let your ATS send it. Results flow back to where you work.
$4 per completed screen. That's the whole price list.
No seats, no monthly fee, no contract. Voicemails, missed calls, and applicants who decline cost nothing, because there is no scorecard to read.

What hiring managers ask before they try it
What exactly is PhoneScreen? +
An AI interviewer that runs your first-round phone screen. You give it the questions for a role. Applicants get a link, call in when they are ready, and it asks your questions one at a time. You get a scored transcript a minute after they hang up.
How is AI used, and what does it not do? +
The AI does three things: runs the conversation (asks, listens, follows up once when an answer is thin, answers questions about the job from your notes), writes the transcript, and scores each answer against the question you asked. It does not decide who to hire. Your team reads the scorecards and does that.
Does it sound like a robot? +
No. It speaks naturally, pauses when the applicant pauses, handles interruptions, and wraps up politely if someone says they are not interested. Take the three-question sample on this page and judge for yourself.
Why do applicants call in instead of you calling them? +
Unknown numbers go to voicemail. When the applicant dials, the call always connects, there is nothing to schedule, and they pick a moment when they can actually talk. If you want, you can still place outbound calls from the dashboard or your ATS.
What if an applicant never calls? +
Then you learned something early: they also would not have answered your call or shown up for an interview. The link can be re-sent, and you can dial out to anyone you specifically want to reach.
What languages does it support? +
English, Spanish, and thirty more. Applicants choose the language on the apply form; the whole screen runs in it. You read the transcript and scorecard in English, with the original a click away.
Is it consistent and fair? +
Every applicant for a role gets the same questions, in the same order, scored on the same rubric. It never asks about age, health, family, religion, or national origin. Every call has a recording and transcript, so you can show exactly how a decision was made.
How much does it cost? +
Your first 10 screens are free. After that it is $4 per completed screen, billed monthly for what you use. No seats, no monthly fee, no contract. Voicemails, missed calls, and applicants who decline are never charged.
Do I have to replace my ATS or careers page? +
No. Put the apply link on the job post or in your ATS auto-reply, embed the apply form on your own careers page, or connect Indeed, CareerPlug, Hireology, ApplicantPro, Workstream, Zapier, or the API to start screens automatically. Scorecards flow back to wherever you work.
