What Jev is

A decision model, not a chatbot

Screening is a yes or no with a confidence, not an essay. Jev answers typed questions about a resume and returns calibrated probabilities. It cannot write, so it cannot invent a qualification.

Seventeen typed questions per resume

Worth a phone screen? Fit on a four-step rubric? One yes or no per listed requirement, plus level, location and stability, each answered separately in one pass.

Under a second each, 25 at a time

A hundred resumes in about a minute, for less than the cost of a stamp. The stopwatch on the run is real.

Calibrated, so “Maybe” means maybe

The middle band is real uncertainty, shown to you as “take a look” instead of a silent no. A red flag never rejects on its own; it asks you to read first.

Paste, drop, read the top of the list

01

Paste the job posting

Jev pulls the requirements and drafts five screening questions in about ten seconds.

02

Drop up to 100 resumes

PDF, Word or text. Twelve go up at a time; verdicts land as each one finishes.

03

Read the stack rank

Top to bottom by fit, each with the requirement that was met or missing.

04

Keep it and invite

A free account keeps the run and turns the shortlist into phone screens in one click.

How the verdict is made

  • Worth a phone screen? A probability, not a guess.
  • Fit on a four-step rubric, from no overlap to exceptional.
  • One yes or no per listed requirement, so you see exactly what is missing.
  • Can they answer the screening questions from real experience?
  • Anything uncertain is flagged “take a look” instead of rejected.

Then the part that used to take a week

  • Open the run in PhoneScreen. Every verdict and reason is saved.
  • Invite the recommended candidates to a phone screen in one click.
  • They call when they want. No scheduling, no phone tag.
  • Scored transcripts land back in the same list within minutes.
  • First ten screens free. No card needed.
From shortlist to scorecard

The list you just ranked becomes the list you hire from

Claim the run and the job and its candidates are already set up in PhoneScreen. Send the top five a link; the AI interviewer asks your questions when they call in, and their scores show up next to Jev's verdict.

Before you upload

What people ask first

Is this really free?

Yes. Three runs a day, up to 100 resumes each, no account needed. Creating an account to keep a run is free too and includes ten phone screens.

What happens to the resumes I upload?

They are used only to produce your run. Nothing is used to train any model. Runs you do not claim are deleted after 7 days.

How much should I trust the verdict?

Treat it like a sharp first pass, not a decision. Every verdict comes with the requirement that was met or missing, and anything uncertain is flagged for you to read.

What files work?

PDF, Word (.docx), and plain text. Scanned image PDFs with no text layer will be skipped.
